Hi All,

Since the weather will be so nice this weekend. We're planning a last minute hike in Santa Cruz. We'll meet at the Starbucks at Santana Row at 12:30 pm then carpool over to Santa Cruz or you could drive your own car and we can caravan to Santa Cruz together.

We'll head to Natural Bridges for a relaxing 0.75 mile hike to see the beautiful Monarch Butterflies then we'll head to Wilder Ranch for our real hike (about 4-5 miles).

Natural Bridges -- http://santacruzstate...
Wilder -- http://www.bahiker.co...

Weather should be a nice 73 degrees but beach weather can be unpredictable therefore layered clothing is suggested.

Suggested items to bring for the hike: light jacket (i.e. windbreaker), backpack, water, hat, sunblock, snacks (fruits, trail mix, chips, etc)
There will probably be limited parking, please RSVP if you're interested.

Thanks,

Alice

Great hike & met some wonderful new people!
    •  Great scenery. Haven't seen this side of Santa Cruz before.
    •  I really enjoyed the hike and meeting new people! Thanks for organizing this. If at all possible, I'd like to have the opportunity to practice Mandarin more in-depth with targeted vocabulary. How would you and the other members feel about a session where we might break off into structured groups of four or five where we'd might pick a current event and discuss it, maybe have pros and cons and discuss varying positions or have games held in Mandarin, maybe trivial pursuit rounds where the questions are translated into Mandarin and the answers are given in Mandarin or any other games where similar language usage can be engaged?
